In the front garden a brick and wood stepped path leads to the front door, either side are beds of mixed planting including a large phormium and a yucca. Enter the small rear garden through a wrought iron gate covered with Virginia creeper to a well-planted paved area and a small pond. Gravel and steps lead upwards through more mixed planting to a deck area with potted acers and other trees. On the next level is a children's play area and a “castle”.
